Next up on Backbone Radio 8/12

Tune in Sunday night to KNUS AM 710 from 5 to 8 pm for Backbone Radio. Matt Dunn  and Krista Kafer will hit the airwaves with fresh commentary on all things  political and cultural. We are  enthused about Romney’s bold pick of Congressman Paul Ryan as running mate. Calm  and cool and full of energy, Ryan really knows his stuff.

As he’s done in the  House of Representatives, Ryan will focus the election on Obama’s out of control  spending habits. In just over three years, Obama has added $5 trillion to the  national debt. Especially now, this election will mark a choice between fiscal  sanity and fiscal suicide. And we  simply cannot wait to watch Ryan and Biden debate!  Pass the popcorn. Just to  give a little foretaste, we’ll replay Ryan’s epic dismantling of Obamacare. He  hit it out of the park in a six-minute impromptu speech, sitting right in front  of Obama and Biden, looking them in the eyes. Talk about backbone!

In addition  we’ll have some terrific guests-Penn Pfiffner and Rob Natelson of the  Independence Institute will join us in studio to talk about efforts afoot to  eliminate TABOR, the popular clause in our state’s constitution that prevents  the legislature from raising taxes without a vote by the people. TABOR  foes say it violates the U.S. Constitution’s guarantee that states have a  “republican” form of government, in which elected representatives decide  matters.  One can only imagine what tax and spenders might accomplish if TABOR  was ruled unconstitutional! Can you say California?
Also, we’ll be joined by  Senator Kevin Lundberg, candidate for Congressional District 2. He’s a  principled conservative with the kind of backbone that makes him perfect for the  show. We’ll hear about what he’ll do if elected and his thoughts about the  economy and the election.

Don’t miss  the hard hitting commentary and hot bumper music. Tune in to 710 KNUS or 1460  KZNT Colorado Springs or online at http://www.710knus.com/ <http://www.710knus.com/> from 5 to 8 PM.  Your smart choice for Sunday night radio.
