Next up on Backbone Radio 7/15

Tune in Sunday night to KNUS AM 710 from 5 to 8 pm for Backbone Radio. Matt Dunn and Krista Kafer will hit the airwaves with fresh commentary on all things political and cultural.

We have some terrific guests—Dr. William Watson, Professor of History at Colorado Christian University and former linguist with US Military Intelligence, will talk with us about the Muslim Brotherhood and Egypt’s prospects from becoming a peaceful democracy that respects civil rights. Kafer and Dunn are not too optimistic.

The investigators at Media Trackers, a non-profit, non-partisan investigative watchdog group, recently broke a story showing how Clinton-era environmental regulations restricted the construction of forest access roads and the clearing of combustible brush and trees that helped fuel wildfires this summer. We’ll get the details.

Expert dog trainer Jason Bagley will be our guest to discuss macroeconomics. Kidding! He’ll be on to answer your questions about training your four legged buddy to be a good dog. He’s done marvels for my ornery mutt Bacon.

We’ll also talk about Hank William, Jr.’s new album and its not-so-subtle political message, Tim Tebow’s Best Moment ESPY award, Rolling Stone’s 50th  birthday (feeling old yet?), cities going bankrupt, and the recent discovery that taxpayers bankrolled 6,108 new refrigerators bought for Coloradoans with government “stimulus” funds. That gets us steamed!

Tune in to 710 KNUS or 1460 KZNT Colorado Springs or online at http://www.710knus.com/ from 5 to 8 PM. Your smart choice for Sunday night radio.
